The MD series offers a range of dosing grinders designed to optimize the grinding of every dose of espresso. The powerful motor allows grinding at a low speed, which prevents the bean from overheating to maintain its aroma and keep the flavor intact. Rancilio offers models with different capacities. MD 80 has grinding burrs with a diameter of 2.9 inch (75 mm), guaranteeing a production of 26.4-30.9 lb/hour (12-14 kg/hour). Doses can be varied from 0.17 to 0.35 Oz (5 to 10 g), with a capacity for 49.4 Oz (1,400 g) of coffee beans.
